On Sunday, Oct 29th, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Dunwoody Driving Club, we will host an afternoon of fine vinyl played on equipment designed by Sam Papadas, member and the club's Technical Director.

Equipment to be played will include Sam's newly designed and built stereo power amplifier, his latest phono pre-amp, the latest version of the club two way speakers, and a precision volume control.

Also there as part of this system will be John's VPI HW-19 JR TT, with AQ-PT6 tonearm, Soundsmith Boheme cartridge, and custom built tone-arm cable featuring Cardas RCAs and Furutech DIN Plug.

We will provide all of the vinyl to be played at this meeting. There will be a playlist similar to the one provided last month by Gary and Barry. We will attempt to find the best sounding recordings we can find in multiple genre's so that we'll have something for every musical taste. We want this to be a relaxed, quiet, enjoyable Sunday afternoon listening session. Well, only the attendees should be quiet... not the music!

There will be some new guidelines concerning approaching the equipment during the presentation. We'll cover that during the Announcements.

As in the previous meeting, the club will provide all refreshments. This does not mean that you can't bring something if you wish, but you will not be compensated for what you bring. Refreshments will be available from 1:45 PM until 4:00 PM.

We will need some folks to stay afterwards to help clean up the DNDC.

The meeting will start at the regular time, however there may be music playing prior to 2 PM if you wish to arrive a little early.

More later!
