Please reply or comment on this thread if you will be at AXPONA this year. My flight gets in tomorrow (Thursday) evening at around 5:40 pm.

I'm also giving a talk at 11:45 am on Friday (the first day of the show) on Streaming:

Feel free to stop by if you're there by then. It would be fun to see some familiar faces in the crowd. :)

The show was amazing this year. I had great conversations with Legacy Audio's founders, Totem Acoustics, CAD, Jantzen, and others. Here are photos I took of some of the exhibits I could visit. I certainly did not see everything. Rooms that actually took acoustic measurements and made adjustments accordingly had a significant advantage over those that did not. The Perlisten and Legacy Audio rooms sounded great. I was not super impressed by the Magico M9 room, but it didn't sound terrible. Just terrible value for money. :-D

Hoping I can catch some of you in 2026!

David, thanks for sharing all of those great photos from the show. Looks like some awesome gear was on display. Although I couldn't make it, seeing all of those pics made me feel like I was actually browsing the rooms at the show (without the hard sell) and poor acoustics !

Thanks, Larry.

My strategy this year was to walk into as many rooms as I could and take a photo or two. If I liked what I heard, I sat down and listened for a while. This enabled me to enjoy both of my hobbies at the same time. :-D

The show was massive. I did not make it into every room, and not all of my photos were usable because some rooms were packed full of people. Friday was surprisingly busy; very different from when I attended in 2023. Also different was the makeup of attendees. A lot more younger folks in 2025, which was great to see. I think the expanded headphones exhibit and car audio helped to expand the audience.
