Hello fellow members,
I have been a moderator of the Eva Cassidy Discussion group for over a decade. We spent most of that time on Yahoo Groups however following Verizon's purchase of Yahoo the GROUPS portion of the website was shut down. I've migrated the group to GROUPS.IO (link below) and do some mirroring of info on twitter.
Considered ON TOPIC is anything about Eva or other "emerging artists", which is what Eva was when she died in obscurity at the age of thirty three. One of the artists discussed by the group before she became an international jazz superstar is Melody Gardot. I was lucky enough to arrange an hour long radio interview for her on an Atlanta radio station.
To entice you to visit the discussion group I've provided documentaries on Eva as well as information on two emerging artists - one of whom was just written about today in the Chicago Tribune - a seventy year old songwriter by the name of Flo Estes. The last song link for Sierra Eagleson is also brand new (posted just a day ago) and is available on spotify.

Flo Estes - a seventy year old singer songwriter with a doctorate in Labor Economics. This article appeared today at WBEZ FM in Chicago as well as The Chicago Tribune. It compares Flo favorably with several famous folk musicians. I won't argue. Her album was released just a few months ago on BandCamp (link below) and if you ask is available in CD format as well as download file.
